The Organisation
The natureplus Association is organised via the instruments of the membership assembly, the executive committee as well as various commissions and committees. The leadership of the Association is currently the responsibility of two managing directors who are elected and instated by the executive committee.
Today, the Association has 95 members (October 2006) from the 7 groups: Manufacturers, distributors, consumer- and environmental protection organisations, planners and processors, Trades Unions as well as testing and standards institutions. The members exercise their functions within the membership assembly and are responsible for electing a 12 member executive committee, with equal representation from the various member groups.
The headquarters and therefore the management of the Association is located in Germany. Contact-Points exist in other European countries (currently 5). Additional contacts within Europe have already been established and are continuously expanded and developed.
