ASBP Awards - Shortlisted Projects Announced

The six shortlisted projects for the inaugural ASBP Awards 2019 have been announced.

The ASBP awards recognise construction projects which exemplify excellence in sustainability through their products, design and delivery. The winners will be announced at the ASBP`s Healthy Buildings Conference and Expo which takes place on 28th February 2019 at London South Bank University. The six shortlisted projects can be seen on the ASBP website.

The ASBP Awards is an exciting new awards programme which recognise construction projects which exemplify excellence in sustainability through their products, design and delivery. The awards are open to projects from across the UK built environment sector that were completed and handed over by June 2018. Submissions will be assessed against the ASBP’s Six Pillars of Sustainable Construction: Health and well-being, resource efficiency, whole-life carbon, ethics and transparency, technical performance and social value.

The Product Innovation Award

In addition to the Awards for exemplary sustainable building projects, ASBP announces a Product Innovation Award which will reward an innovative product showcased within the awards submissions.The award is supported by the ecolabel and association natureplus, of which ASBP is the UK representative. The winning product manufacturer will be announced at our conference and the prize includes the opportunity for preliminary natureplus certification assessment.

The winner and commended projects will be announced at a ceremony at the ASBP’s third Healthy Buildings Conference and Expo which takes place on February 28th 2019 at London South Bank University. The 2019 Healthy Buildings Conference and Expo will be the largest yet with over 200 delegates expected to attend and up to 20 exhibitors including leading product manufacturers, research organisations and designers. Natureplus managing director Thomas Schmitz and assistant Tilmann Kramolisch will also take part.
